Britain's richest man, the Duke of Westminster went cruising aboard a classic yacht yesterday from Club de Mar and the rumours are that he will buy! The Bulletin exclusively revealed the Duke's intention to buy a yacht last month, this interest is obviously still strong and has perhaps been piqued by a beautiful 1907 yacht named Mauna Loa, asking price $800'000. The Duke's fortune is estimated at four billion pounds. The 28 metre yacht which he has been viewing has been restored over the last 10 years and now is a tribute to yaching Edwardian style. She has accommodation for six guests in 3 cabins, plus four crew in self contained crew quarters with their own mess. The aft deck is a shaded area and has a traditional Gin-Palace and dining table.
