Hoteliers, residents and traders along the Playa de Palma have sent the Mayor of Palma yet another letter, pleading for the council to take urgent action and crack down on the rapidly growing community of prostitutes. The area is now rife with juvenile crime and prostitution and the local community have had enough, of both rising crime and having to continually try to get the mayor to help them. Hotel owners and traders believe that had the council ordered the local police to take effective action over the summer, the problems would now be under control, however, the local community claims that the problems are merely escalating.
