Balearic Minister for Labour, Eberhard Grosske, yesterday denied rumours that a secret pact between the President and leader of the Council of Majorca, Maria Antonia Munar, exists. Munar, whose party is a member of the coalition government, is refusing to support the government's new planning and building law reforms and as such has thrown the future of the coalition and the government into doubt. Antich and Munar met this week, but discussed very little apart from the global crisis, but their differences over the reforms were made clear to one another. Amidst talk of Munar joining forces with the opposition Partido Popular, Grosske denies any secret deals going on to save the government.
