Major new leisure complex for Palma

Palma will have a major new leisure complex which is being built in Cas Capiscol, between the Soller and Valldemossa roads. Facilities will include 13 cinema screens, six shops, a 24-track bowling alley which will be the biggest in Europe, and other facilities. It is being built by Multicines Portopi and consists of two buildings separated by a large glass-covered space. One of the buildings will house the shops and restaurants and the other, larger building, will have the cinemas and bowling alley. The promoters say that families will be able to spend the day there. There will be parking facilities for more than 700 vehicles in two car parks, one underground. The complex is due to open next year.
