Gay Palma promotion

The association Ben Amics is to distribute over 40'000 maps of Palma to tourist information offices across Spain with the city's main gay establishments indicated. Ben Amics said in a statement yesterday that this is the fourth time the association has launched the campaign and the maps this year will be printed in Spanish, Catalan, English and German. On the maps, over 60 places are indicated including bars, restaurants, shops and places frequently visited by homosexuals. This year the Balearic government has helped print the maps by granting 600'000 pesetas of financial help and the Insular Council of Majorca has helped with distribution.
