Drugs and their relation to modern culture and having fun is the topic of the sixth European conference of the Institute for the Investigation into the Risk to Infants and Adolescents in Palma. Representatives from 19 countries will be attending the conference to discuss and examine the modern attitudes to drugs and under which conditions people use drugs. The use of hard drugs is no longer a habit common to private or marginalised sectors of society but has become increasingly common amongst people going out clubbing or having fun. In some cases drug use has become part of certain modern cultures and the conference will be looking at ways of altering people's attitude to drugs and preventing drug abuse.
