Faced with another aviation fuel supply strike by distributors CLH, Spanish airlines yesterday took evasive action to ensure that flights would not be delayed or disrupted. The three days of industrial action, which started yesterday, failed to effect any Balearics flights with both the Palma-based airlines Spanair and Air Europa having made sure that all aircraft were carrying maximum amounts of fuel yesterday morning in order to prevent planes having to re-fuel at airports worse hit by the industrial action which last week delayed a number of flights.
