Screenwriter Akiva Goldsman who yesterday won the Oscar for Best Screenplay for the film “Beautiful Mind,” loves to find some peace of mind in Deya, Majorca. A regular visitor, Goldsman who is expected to return this summer to stay with friends, has written a number of excellent film scripts in his carrer including “Time to Kill” and “The Client,” and also wrote two of the Batman films, “Batman Forever” as well as Batman and Robin,” one of which he wrote while in Majorca. Former “Happy Days” child star Ron Howard won the Academy Award as best director on Sunday for his work on “A Beautiful Mind,” an exploration of the fine line between genius and insanity and the movie also won the Oscar for Best Motion Picture.
