The legendary cruise liner, QE2, will dock in Palma this morning as the Jubilee celebrations are in full swing. The Cunard flagship is in the middle of a Mediterranean cruise and the liner will spend a few hours moored in Palma. Celebrations to mark the Jubilee took centre stage yesterday in Majorca with more than 1'000 people attending a JMC/Thomas Cook Jubilee Party at Western Park. There was a great atmosphere and a considerable sum of money was raised for Age Concern and the Salvation Army. Across Britain yesterday the Jubilee was celebrated in style with street parties and last night the pop concert took place at Buckingham Palace. It was certainly a day to remember both in Britain and in Majorca.
