The working population in the Balearics accounts for some of the most frequent drug users in Spain. A report published yesterday by the National Drugs Plan reveals that company bosses and directors consume the most tranquilisers and smoke the most but are the third biggest drinkers and down in fifth place when it comes to taking cocaine and smoking cannabis. In general in Catalunya - Aragón - the Balearics and Madrid, 90 per cent of the working population have smoked, drunk alcohol and/or taken some form of drug while at work over the past 12 months. Amongst the rest of Spain's working population, the percentage is 65 per cent.
