One of Britain's highest paid sportsmen, Formula One driver Jenson Button has been making the most of the three-week break in the season by relaxing in Majorca on board his £2.1 million super yacht Little Missy. Button, accompanied by his girlfriend Louise Griffiths and friends have spent the past week cruising out of the new marina in Palma, visiting some of Majorca's most secluded coves and beaches. But Button, who in July was signed by BAR Honda racing team on a four-year deal worth £8 million in just the first two years, appears to have found it hard to sit still in the sun for too long, prefering to race around on a jet ski while the ladies in the party lapped up the sunshine. Even though he is only 22, Button, who will finish this season with Renault, is said to have opted for the team which he believes can give him the most victories, despite a reported £10 million-plus offer being prepared by Toyota who, along with Jaguar and Sauber, were after the man tipped as the future of British Formula One racing. Button, who is sailing across to the South of France, and his party spent most evenings dining in Puerto Portals which is a mecca for Formula One drivers every summer. Apart from the face of Formula One on television, Tony Jardine, being on the island, a number of the sportsmen he watches week-in and week-out belt round the race circuits, are cruising round Majorca at the moment.
