The search for British tourist Richard Rilry, who went missing in Minorca last Sunday, has been called off. Police sources said that all efforts to trace the missing man had failed, but indicated that the search will be resumed if new information comes to light. A sighting near the Torralba den Salort archaeological site in the municipality of Alaior was reported on Thursday. As a result of this information Local Police officers and Red Cross volunteers searched the area, but no trace of the tourist was found. All police officers in Minorca had been given photographs of the missing man to help in the search.
