By Humphrey Carter REAL Mallorca's new coach Luis Aragones will be on the bench for tonight's UEFA Cup second leg clash against Apoel Nicosia from Cyprus at Son Moix. Real Mallorca are favourites to go through to the next round having won the away leg 2-1 for the Cypriots who arrived in Palma yesterday, it is a damage limitation exercise. Luis Aragones has already stamped his mark on the side, the players said yesterday that they have a much clearer idea of what their coach wants and expects. Aragones will be the main attraction at Son Moix, where the fans have not seen Mallorca win since they beat Zaragoza 2-0 in the second game of the season. Aragones's only injury worry is David Cortes who, despite having been included in the squad, will most likely be replaced down the left by Javier Olaizola. Real Mallorca's new coach knows that his side are favourites, but he insisted that his players will not be letting their guard down and will play 100 percent to make sure the Cypriots do not pull off any little surprises. Aragones's Cypriot counterpart, Dusan Uhrin, knows that his side have a mountain to climb, they need to score at least two goals tonight. Nevertheless, he was in optimistic mood yesterday as he took his players through a training session at Son Moix.
