By Humphrey Carter REAL Mallorca sources confirmed yesterday that Celtic's Dutch striker Henrik Larsson has been offered to them. Larsson will leave Celtic this summer on a free transfer and has snubbed the Premiership, making it clear that he wants to spend a season in the sun before returning to Sweden. His agent Ron Jansen said yesterday that no firm offers have been received, but Larsson, who has made his millions in Scotland, is said to have no problem with taking a wage cut. He currently earns £48'000 per week, relatively minor by Spanish league standards for a player of his quality. Mallorca sources confirmed that they have been approached and that they will be monitoring his performance over the rest of the season. However, the source was quick to point out that he would not be coming to Palma to play for the club “on holiday.” Larsson is also a very keen golfer and has spoken about his plans to set up a golf course in southern Europe when he retires. A Dutch international, who has apparently been chased by Arsenal and Newcastle, he will link up with Mallorca's Dutch international striker Arnold Bruggink.
