A 13-year-old British boy on holiday with his parents on Minorca, died yesterday from heart failure.
According to Minorcan State Administrator, Marc Pons, the body of the boy was found shortly after 6am by employees of the hotel at Santo Tomás in Es Migjorn Gran where he had been staying with his parents.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the actual cause of death, but it was reported that he had been drinking with a group of friends, also under age.

In Majorca, a 19-year-old German tourist, J.V.G., died yesterday in Son Dureta hospital after falling from the terrace of a first-floor bar on calle Padre Bartolomé Salvá on the Playa de Palma.

According to Local Police sources in Palma, the fall happened shortly before 2am yesterday morning.
Having been transferred by ambulance to Son Dureta, the victim was diagnosed with severe head injuries and said to be in a critical condition. He died later in the day.

And in Arenal, a 74-year-old Portuguese tourist, named as Santos Mario Fernandez, died while swimming in Playa de Palma.
His body was spotted floating in the sea at about 10.30am, and several bathers rushed to his aid.
Paramedics worked for more than an hour to try to revive him.
It is believed he suffered a heart attack.
