THE Real Golf de Bendinat Golf Club will be hosting The Ken Hunt Charity golf tournament over the next few days.
Ken Hunt, a keen golfer and long-standing member of the Bendinat golf club will be celebrating his 80th birthday on Thursday and agreed to put his name to the trophy knowing that it will be well supported. Money raised by the two-day event which starts tonight with a welcome cocktail and tapas at the golf club, will be donated to the charity Mediterranea, Robert Winsor Charity Golf, Nourish the Children and the Nazaret Foundation. All of the four charities are administered by local residents.
Tomorrow the charity golf teams will compete in a Texas Scramble and that will be followed by a buffet lunch, drinks, prize giving, raffle and auction. With the full support of the Real Golf de Bendinat, Robert Winsor MBE and Engel & Volkers, the Hunt family and all those involved hope that the event is a huge success.
