BULLETIN GOES UP IN THE WORLD THERE has been plenty of activity in the Bulletin's editorial offices for the past few days, as staff prepare to move up in the world -- up one more floor, in fact, to brand new offices.

The new offices -- in the Palau de la Premsa -- are much larger and airier than the old ones, with views of the Paseo Mallorca. As yet, the lift only goes half way, but no doubt the exercise will do the staff good. They have certainly been getting plenty of it, carrying files and reference books upstairs while the computer boffins put the finishing touches to the new computer system.

The move will be completed tomorrow. Telephone, fax and e-mail numbers remain unchanged.

PALMA NEEDS MORE INITIATIVES LIKE THE NIGHT

OF ART
ONCE again the Night of Art brought hundreds of people into the streets of Palma, taking advantage of the evening not only to see the exhibitions but to enjoy meeting people, listening to music and chatting. People left their homes to enjoy an evening which celebrated the arrival of the new art season and to dine or have a drink in the bars and restaurants closest to the galleries and museums before going home. For once, Palma presented signs of an unaccustomed animation. Hopefully more activities such as this will be organised.

ALL FOR THE SAKE OF ANIMALS
THE Bulletin was instrumental in bringing together Selina Scott, Robert Winsor MBE and Suzy Gale together in Puerto Portals yesterday, all for the sake of animals. Selina and Suzy, both keen animal rights defenders, formed part of the jury to find the most unusual mongrel at the show organised by SOS-Animal of Calvia, which helps save and find homes for stray cats and dogs. Robert Winsor is also a champion of animal rights and is planning a charity golf tournament, Dogs Like Us, at the Bendinat golf course on November 22.
