Mrs Holt will take up her new appointment in May 2007. “It is an honour to be appointed Ambassador to Spain and Andorra, a region I have known for many years through my work in the Foreign Office and before. “I look forward to taking up this appointment to carry on working to strengthen the relationship between our countries,” she said.
