THE San Fermin fiestas in Pamplona, with the running of the bulls through the streets, was made famous by Ernest Hemingway. And the first day of the fiesta was celebrated in Palma's Plaza Mayor -- although not with real bulls -- much to the delight and amazement of tourists visiting the market there.
