THE President of the Majorcan Association of Families with Alzheimer Sufferers (Afam), Guillem Ramon was yesterday presented with a cheque for 4'500 euros by Marie Robinson.
The money was raised at an annual dinner held in El Toro to raise funds for the association and Robinson yesterday thanked the Associacon Social Cultural Alemana and the Mujeres de Santa Ponsa group as well as all the Calvia hotel directors and employees who every help raise vital funds for Afam.
Ramon said the money will go towards running the newly opened Therapy Centre.
