THE annual Christmas arts and crafts fair Baleart opens its doors to the public at the Palma Airport Exhibition centre this morning.
The five-day fair, it closes on Monday evening, is the ideal place for unusual, unique and rare items and full of ideas for Christmas presents.
However, the annual event is much more than a giant arts and crafts market.
A total of 107 exhibitors from across the Balearics and Spain are participating in the fair this Christmas and a wide range of art and antiques are also on display and for sale.

A series of workshops has also been organised and there will be a number of live displays by a host of highly talented arts and craftsmen and women.
This year, the fair will also feature the latest developments and technologies used by craftsmen and many of those exhibiting at the fair will also be entitled to compete for a series of prizes.
