Emergency standing lifted in Majorca

NEWSDESK THE Balearic Emergency Centre cancelled the emergency weather alert yesterday evening. Majorca has been on severe weather and flood alert since Monday afternoon but yesterday, as the Spanish troops from the Military Emergency Brigade flown in from Valencia to help with the clean up operation were withdrawn, the alert was lifted with the emergency centre declaring the situation was back to normal in the Balearics and that there was no further threat of any imminent severe weather.
