SOME 500 Harley Davidson motorbikes will be descending on the Son Castello industrial estate at around 11.30 am in Palma today to hold a mass meeting for enthusiasts.
The event forms part of activities organised for Mallorca Bike Week which is an annual occasion held on the island, attracting over 600 fans from Germany.
Apart from being the backdrop for a bikers' reunion, a special feature will be the appearance from 12 noon onwards of Germany's Rainer Schwarz who is the internationally recognised Harley Davidson stunt man. For all those who care to watch, Schwarz will be performing some near impossible two-wheeler acrobatics. Organisers of today's festival confirmed yesterday that for some years now, Schwarz has had exclusive rights with the company of Harley Davidson.
Meanwhile, Euromotos Palma, the only company with the rights for Harley Davidson dealership on the island is simultaneously celebrating its 20th anniversary. Management want to enjoy festivities with customers, suppliers and members of the Mallorca Harley Davidson chapter.
