Palma.—Ex Balearic Sports Director and Majorcan Olympic sportsman , José Luis “Pepote” Ballester will be in court today in Palma as one of the key suspects in the Palma Arena corruption scandal and its links with the Noos public relations company headed by Iñaki Urdangarin, the Duke of Palma, the King's son-in-law.

A number of other high profile figures will be appearing before Judge José Castro today including Miguel Angel Bonet, the ex Secretary of the Balearic Institute for Tourism (Ibatur), Gonzalo Bernal, ex Managing Director of the Illesport Sports Foundation and Joan Carlos Alia, ex Managing Director of Ibatur. It is however, “Pepote” who is predicted to reveal the most relevant information on business contracts which were established between the Balearic government and the Noos Institute, during the presidency of ex Central Government Minister Jaume Matas.
