Public nature reserves and parks in the Balearic Islands will now be accessible to people with limited mobility thanks to the local government's acquisition of 12 specially adapted chairs. The new facility was presented yesterday at Mondragó park in east Majorca. The chairs will additionally be available in the Llevant nature reserve, ses Salines park spread over the two islands of Ibiza and Formentera, the s'Albufera des Grau park on Minorca, in the Tramuntana mountain reserve on Majorca and on the Cabrera Island national park. The project is a pioneering one in the Balearics.
