Pollensa.—The ESRA Thursday Club in Puerto Pollensa is now regular meeting place for ESRA members, where they can have a coffee and a piece of home made cake, as well as read the daily papers, play Bridge, or learn to use a computer.

The Thursday Club has therefore become a place where things happen, so it was quite appropriate this week that ESRA North should use the Thursday Club to make a quiet presentation to a local good cause.

The St Andrews Community Support group loans equipment to members of the wider community who may need equipment after coming out of hospital or recovering from an accident.

Pam Dabney from St Andrews Community Support received a donation from Janet de Vries, the Chair of ESRA North.
The donation will cover the cost of a multi-purpose wheelchair.
It had been hoped to bring the wheelchair, to the presentation, but it is already in use! After the presentation, Pam Dabney thanked ESRA North for the donation, “which will benefit the whole community.” Janet de Vries said that it was a pleasure to be able to support a local community group. “Already many of our members have benefited from the use of the equipment available.”
