A 40-year-old Majorcan, resident in Palma was arrested on Sunday by Guardia Civil from Mahón as the alleged arsonist who started four forest fires on Minorca earlier this month. After his arrest, he confessed to having started the fires on Minorca and investigators are following up lines of enquiry he may have been responsible for starting other fires on Majorca.
