Palma.—The German company Bauhaus, specialising in household goods, home decoration and garden items is to open a store in summer next year in Marratxi with an investment of 30 million euros.

The project will mean the creation of 300 jobs, both direct and indirect.
The site on which the store is to be located is close to Festival Park.
The largest in Spain
Work is apparently due to begin this month.
The premises will be the sixth store that Bauhaus has in Spain and the largest.
The Balearic government is encouraging foreign investment in the region.
