There is a week to go before the traditional October fair in Alcudia and the local council yesterday presented a poster and programme of events. A mediaeval fair will be held by the old city walls between the Bastió de Santa Maria and La Porta Roja. There will be arts and crafts on display along with quality Balearic produce in Passeig de La Mare de Deu de la Victoria and Passeig Pere Vetanyol. Festival Councillor Carme Garcia said that so far, 20 companies had signed up to be part of the exhibitions. Alcudia's Mayor Coloma Terrassa said that the Alcudia Fair is a cultural landmark in north Majorca.
