Soller .—The Mayor of Soller, Carlos Simarro, said yesterday that the town council, for now, “hasn't decided to make a direct accusation” against the youth who was arrested for setting the Mayor's car ablaze in September.

Simarro insisted that he wanted to wait until a full investigation had been completed and that there weren't “any gaps” in the evidence. It's possible, claimed the Mayor, that there may have been someone, or other people behind the attack, who may have persuaded the young man to act on their behalf. So it is too soon, he said, to make a direct accusation against the youth as being solely responsible for the incident which shook local residents the town of Soller.
