Balearic President José Ramón Bauzá yesterday surprised social networkers by posting on Twitter a number of photographs taken at a meeting he held over the weekend at Lluc monastery with all regional government ministers.

Although Bauzá didn't put the agenda of the snow-bound weekend “think tank” up for public scrutiny, there was widespread speculation that following the start of devisive Parliamentary sessions, ministers' discussions would have focused on issues such as the removal of the ability to speak and write inCatalan as a legal pre-requisite for a government job and the place of the language in public education. Also likely for debate were the hotly contested new Tourism law and the purchase of government bonds.
