A 30-year-woman and her two sons aged three and five, were injured yesterday when a fire broke out at their home along the old Bunyola road.
According to Palma fire brigade sources, the alarm was raised just after midday and it took the best part of an hour for fire fighters to extinguish the flames.

But, while fire fighters fought the flames, 061 paramedics decided to take all three into hospital because they were suffering from the effects of severe smoke inhalation.

According to sources close to the investigation, the fire was caused by faulty electrics but the probe continues.
