Police cordon off weather damage in Andratx

Newsdesk ANDRATX Local Police have been forced to cordon off a number of areas damaged by the New Year's near hurricane force gales which lashed the island Smashed remains of boats wait to be removed while parts of a a number of coastal promenades were either washed away or damaged by rock falls. In Cala Egos, a series of landslides have been reported prompting the police to close off the area. In cala Fornoll, the fierce waves and gales destroyed part of the promenade. Andratx was the area worst hit by adverse weather and storms last year.
