COLONIA DE SANT JORDI
A NUMBER of girls and boys in sa Colonia de Sant Jordi in Ses Salines were left without their presents yesterday, the Feast of the Kings, after a break-in and burglary at the Three Kings' gift warehouse.

As happens every year, the Three Kings Committee in sa Colonia had taken responsibility for wrapping and storing toys which were destined to be handed out yesterday by Melchior, Caspar and Balthasar during the parade scheduled for 10.30am. The toys were stored in a warehouse belonging to the Town Council at the side of the local football pitch.

In the early hours of yesterday morning, the eve of the Three Kings Festival, the organisers placed the wrapped toys by the floats and carts which were to parade through the town later that day. They finished work about 1am and locked the premises.
