PALMA
FOR yet another year, the Balearics have missed out on any of the “El Niño” lottery prizes.
The first prize of two million euros per series, divided up among ten ticket holders claiming 200'000 euros each went to winners in Terrassa, Barcelona.

Champagne corks were popping therefore at “La Bona Sort” (Good Luck) lottery ticket office at the Eroski commercial centre in Terrassa yesterday which had sold serial number 28'920.

After selling sets of 10 tickets for the whole series of 60 (2 million on each), prize money to the tune of 120 million was due for payout.
Second prize from the draw went to serial number 56'306 with one million euros prize money available for the series, meaning that the ten ticket holders which shared the same serial number were entitled to 100'000 euros each.

A lottery ticket office at Llodio in the district of Alava had sold the whole series of 60 (1 million on each), meaning a payout of 60 million euros was due.

Nevertheless, there remained the possibility that people living in the Balearics might have a ticket from the “Niño” lottery if they had bought one in Terrassa or Llodio and purchased one, or obtained one via friends or by Internet.
