Palma.—The National Police have arrested seven suspects in connection with the trashing and robbing of a warehouse.
According to the security services, the seven men caused more than 60'000 euros worth of damage to the property in calle Gabriel Fuster Mayans in the neighbourhood of es Rafal.

The incident occurred at 5pm on Monday when police began receiving a stream of calls reporting that a group of men had broken into and were robbing the warehouse.

Caught
A number of National Police units were quickly deployed to the scene and all seven of the suspects were caught and arrested.
Apparently, two of the suspects were on point, keeping an eye out for the police, while the other five took care of robbing the warehouse and transporting the stolen goods to a nearby house which apparently belonged to the family of one of the suspects - however, the police were too quick and caught them by surprise.

A number of Local Police mobile units were also involved in the operation.
Floor tiles
Amongst the stolen items were baths, sinks, crates of floor tiles and other items of building equipment and material.
The thieves also caused considerable damage by forcing their way into the warehouse.
Apparently windows were also smashed and some of the air conditioning units ripped from the walls.
Three vehicles parked inside the warehouse were also damaged.
The National Police Serious Crime Squad is in charge of the investigation.
