SOLLER
TOURISTS visiting Soller on the railway, as well as daytrippers and regular users of the service, will now be able to buy a single ticket allowing them entry to three local museums, the Botanical Garden and a boat trip to Sa Calobra, all for less than 20 euros.

The Balearic Minister for Transport, Gabriel Vicens, and the Minister for Commerce and Industry, Francesca Vives, announced the initiative during a visit to the railway to see the investments being made by the company that runs the Palma-Soller train and the tram that runs between the town and port.

The joint initiative between Soller Council and the Tren de l'Art Foundation is on offer to all passengers this year.
The proposal came from Soller's Department for Economic Promotion, headed by Miquel Gual, and from the Tren de l'Art Foundation, whose President is Pere A. Serra.

The objective of the proposal will be to encourage a “freedom” visit by train or tram, which will cost less than 20 euros in total and which will include this cultural offer.

Vicens praised the proposal, of which he said he would now inform his department.
The Minister for Commerce also said she considered it a positive initiative for small businesses.
In order to start this initiative, the Tren de l'Art Foundation will give the museums a total of 100'000 euros per year, which Soller Council will distribute.
