PALMA
THOUSANDS of people of all faiths and nationalities united in the centre of Palma yesterday evening under the cry “we're all Palestinians” to march through the city in protest against Israel's continuing attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Police confirmed that at last 3'500 people joined the march but organisers claimed that the figure was much higher as members of the Balearic Government, Palma City Council and representatives from some 70 local associations, movements and unions backed calls for an end to the conflict. .
