STAFF REPORTER THE Balearic Young Farmers Association (Asaja) yesterday called on the regional Ministry for Agriculture to provide economic help after nearly three months of bad weather has incurred losses for agricultural workers of over 11 million euros.

Asaja leader Biel Company said that this cry for assistance will be one of the issues to be tabled tomorrow in front of Minister Mercè Amer at a government Agricultural meeting. Also on the agenda will be measures which the Ministry will be introducing to improve working conditions for farmers in the Balearic countryside.
