Palma.—In the early hours of Sunday morning, the Palma pyromaniac struck again.
This time he struck in the neighbourhood of Es Rafal torching another vehicle.
The emergency services were on the scene quickly but there was little that could have been done because the flames ripped through the vehicles extremely quickly.

All the fire fighters could do was extinguish the blaze, the vehicle was beyond being saved.
Four fires
The police suspect that they are looking for a pyromaniac who is responsible for the last four fires in and around the capital.
Earlier that week four vehicles and four motorcycles were destroyed by fire, the facade of a building extremely damaged by the flames and windows blown out of two near by shops by the intense heat.

Police sources said that the pyromaniac is obsessed with torching vehicles and always strikes between 2am and 3am and since December 29, has been very active.

Insurance battle
Some of the owners of the vehicles affected are furious because their insurance company will not pay out for the damage and police are doing all they can to try and identify and locate the pyromaniac.

Some of the incidents were caught on close circuit televisions and police are trawling through hours of footage in an attempt to get a clear identification of the pyromaniac who may not be acting alone.
