A NUMBER of tourism organisations around the coastal areas of Spain have banded together under the flag of Turespaña (a national promotional vehicle) to market boating holidays and water sports facilities at the International Boat Show being held in Düsseldorf in Germany. Catalonia, Andalucia, Canarias, the Balearics and Galicia are advertising their nautical offers at the show which opened yesterday and will run to 29 January. With Germany a major client market for the country as a whole, a Spanish presence at this trade fair has been a priority for the tourist industry. Visitors were keen to ask for information on Spain as a whole.
