FOLLOWING the very successful staff trip to Thailand over the New Year of 2008. First Mallorca arranged a further complimentary staff holiday and seminar this January 2010 to Singapore. The trip organised as a “thank you” to the company's employees for their superb efforts during 2009 in achieving a record degree of client satisfaction and a near record turnover which surpassed all earlier expectations.

Singapore was selected as a seminar destination to familiarize the First Mallorca team with the residential real estate market in a dynamic city market environment and to experience first hand the professionalism in that sector and to feel and touch the city's exciting commercial architecture. Thirty three persons travelled on a 5 star arrangement - Flying via Barcelona on Singapore Airlines the group arrived, following breakfast on board, to the impressive Singapore Changi airport where they were transported along a masterpiece of environmental landscaping - the East Coast road. A delightful route under exotic trees and lined with flowering borgainville until the Marina Bay extension to the city centre and built on reclaimed land reclaimed from the sea. A further five minutes the group's base - the city's best located hotel, the five-star Marriott, brilliantly located on the corner of the pulsating Scotts and Orchard Road shopping area.

A cable-car ride from Mount Faber to the neighbouring island of Sentosa and and a visit to a leading Singapore real estate agent and developer were two of several additional activities the group enjoyed outside of exploring the fabulous shopping Singapore is famed for. This tiny country is a fairy tale of success on several levels - city planning, infrustructure, social adhesion, financial stability and personal safety.
