As a result of one of the routine controls of the drug-riddled Son Banya shanty town on the outskirts of the capital on Friday night, the police intercepted a pirate taxi which was running special taxi service from the San Antoni red light distract out to Son Banya for drug addicts looking to score.

In the boot of the ‘taxi” police founds bags of syringes and preservatives.
The police operation was mounted at 11pm and came to a close at just after 1am yesterday morning during which time a number of people were arrested and cautioned for drug and alcohol abuse.
