British woman died as result of a tragic accident, say police

51 -YEAR-OLD Moira Jane Gooch died as a result of a tragic domestic accident, according to the Guardia Civil.
The woman is thought to have fallen in the grounds of her Santa Ponsa home in calle Bellavista on Friday and suffered a severe, and apparently mortal, blow to the head.

Forensics said that no signs of violence were recorded at the scene.
The victim's body was not discovered until early Saturday afternoon when her ex-husband visited the property.
He immediately called the emergency services but there was nothing paramedics could do to save the woman.
She had apparently been dead for a number of hours.
