PALMA
MORE Spanish travellers are deciding to stay at home for their holidays this summer despite the strength of the euro making it economically attractive to visit countries not covered by the single currency.

Holiday bookings to the USA, UK, Malta and Croatia have all increased according to online travel agent Lastminute.com.
But many Spanish travellers are choosing to stay at home and visit the country's top resorts, including Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza.
City breaks to London, Rome, Paris and Amsterdam are also proving popular, as well as more exotic destinations like Marrakech, Istanbul and Tunis. “Spanish consumers are finding destinations more accessible because of the discounts offered for hotels and airlines,” said Lastminute's sales director Bruno Preda.
