DETECTIVES investigating the brutal murder of British resident, Yvonne O´Brien, in Alcudia ten years ago are not ruling out the possibility that her murder could be linked to the brutal slaying of a woman in Britain and a 16-year-old girl in Italy. As we reported yesterday, Interpol, has uncovered new evidence in the case and there is a possibility that an arrest will be made. However, according to our sister newspaper, Ultima Hora, detectives suspect that the same person could be responsible for the three murders. Further details are not available as inquiries are still ongoing. The murder of Yvonne O´Brien shocked Majorca. Police said that Yvonne´s body was savaged and said at the time that it was probably one of Majorca´s most gruesome murders. Ten years on and police are still hunting her killer. Police had issued a photofit of a man they had wanted to question in connection with the murder. It now appears that new evidence has come to light.
