Palma.—Deep in the South East corner of Majorca, amid small villages and beautiful ports and coves you will find a friendly group of folk, happy to make their own entertainment and enjoy each others company, this is the South East branch of ESRA. (English Speaking Residents' Association)
We meet weekly, for coffee, a good gossip with old and new members and find out about our forth-coming events. We are always busy. We have many walks, through the countryside and on the coast. A monthly lunch is held at some typical Majorcan/Spanish restaurant here, with good food and wine and the talk flows.

We have many annual events, a big favourite is the BBQ held at Bob and Olive Halls's finca and the Secret Father Christmas lunch with a visit from the ‘real' Father Christmas. Not to be missed is our annual ‘Who Done It' night by John Clays, many are still debating who really done it?

Throughout the year we held many special events, a garden party for the Royal Wedding held at Gunnila and Mark Ratseys's, also a great summer afternoon event and a Last Night at The Proms, were both enjoyed at Maggie and Harvey Crushes's house in the hills, it is at these type of events that we may see an impromptu display by members of traditional island dancing.

Our sporting members play Petanque and 10-pin bowling. Then there are our popular cookery classes where everyone learns new recipes, prepares the food and then, the best part, eats it.

Whatever your interest or you want to make new friends and have fun, come and join us, you are always welcome.
