AN 83-year-old British golfer tragically died yesterday after suffering an accident while playing at the Bendinat golf course.
It is suspected that the golfer suffered a fatal fall down a bank while looking for a ball at the tenth hole. The group of friends he was playing with apparently told the victim, identified as Kenneth S. not to bother with the ball and headed off to the next hole. The victim however, went in search of the lost ball and never returned.

The group found him at the foot of a bank having suffered a severe head injury. The body was airlifted off the course by the Guardia Civil who have opened a full investigation after the body of a middle-aged man was found washed up on the beach in Cas Catala yesterday.

No identification was found on the body but police are extremely suspicious about the fact that the victim's trouser and jacket pockets were apparently filled with rocks.
