Palma.—Majorca will remain on level two orange severe weather alert for today with the wind and the snow expected to cause the biggest problems.
The government's emergency department yesterday issued the warning and is advising people to be extremely careful if going out today because of the gale force winds gusting at over 80 kilometres per hour expected.

The snow line is also going to drop down to 800 metres as the day develops and temperatures will be much lower than yesterday.
Widespread showers, which could turn into heavy storms, can be expected at times.
The advice from the emergency department is to stay away from the coast, agricultural land and buildings under construction.
