CALVIA
IT was another glittering evening at Pickle Ballroom Magalluf on Saturday night. When the first “Not So Strictly Come Dancing” competition of the year was held.

In a hard fought contest, “Pirate” and World and European Champion Acrobatic, Mark Flores won the coveted trophy.
Mark beat of the fierce challenge of Bendinat business-woman Debbie Cameron who came a close second, and joint runners up Gabby Lehenbauer, who works in the Foriegn Citizen Dept at Calvia Council, and IT Manager Ian Douglas.

The dance competition was conducted in front of over a hundred friends, family and dance enthusiasts. Pickles Ballroom dance professionals Ian Pickles and Anne Mawson taught all of the groups their impressive moves in just a few short weeks.

Ian Pickles was delighted by the competition standard. “I have to say that the standard of all the dancers was the best ever. All of them could have won the competition.”
